Flourish
I'm excited to announce a series of workshops aimed at people struggling with anxiety and depression. The workshops will be held over 4 consecutive weeks where attendees will learn a range of craft skills and gain inspiration from the local natural environment.
We’ll be able to connect with others and share experiences around issues around mental health, discuss how using our hands and being in nature can help us and create some pieces that you’ll be proud of and the whole experience will hopefully ‘fill your cup’.

Expect to work with jesmonite, learn the art of pyrography, create with clay and get hands on with quilling.
Rationale behind flourish series of workshop. Open to anyone who is struggling with their mental health. No formal diagnosis required.
You’ve been struggling with your mental health for a while, and it’s hard to know where to turn. Your GP has signed you off work for six weeks, prescribed antidepressants, and put you on the waiting list for talking therapy but that could take time.
Right now, you feel demotivated, sad, and anxious. You know staying in bed won’t help, but getting out on your own feels overwhelming. You want to do something positive, but you’re not sure what.
What if you committed to a small, supportive group workshop just four weeks, a few hours at a time? These workshops are designed to help you connect with nature, spark curiosity, and find inspiration. You’ll be surrounded by others who understand what you’re going through, no pressure, no judgment, just a safe space to share and create.
After gathering images, colors, and textures from the natural world, we’ll return to Make and Mind studio, where you’ll learn a new craft skill and create something beautiful. Imagine the sense of pride and accomplishment, not to mention the positive impact on your wellbeing. No screens, no doom-scrolling, just creativity, connection, and calm.
These workshops will help you refocus, recharge, and learn a skill you can continue at home.
I’d love for you to join us.
